Abstract
- The article presents an interview with Adrian Benepe, the Parks Commissioner of the city of New York. In the piece Benepe discusses a number of issues including the importance of public involvement in the design and construction of parks, the challenges and rewards of building parks in New York City and the use of artificial turf in park design.
