Abstract
- The article discusses the concept of marginal or stigmatized groups of people on art education. It notes that there are many stigmatized people in the world whose needs have not been adequately responded to socially, educationally, recreationally, and culturally. The classification of marginal people who form groups with others who share their disabilities, include delinquents, retarded, criminals, dying person, and mental patients in psychiatric institutions. It stated that the value of an artist or art teacher working along with the patient may be to relieve some of the loneliness and isolation of the dying person often feels.
