Abstract

The article reports on the reasons of Iraq's suspicion that Kurds participated in Sunni and Shia violence through the United States and Israeli support. The determination of Kurds to separate from Iraq is the main reason for the suspicion of its participation in Sunni and Shia violence. The agents from Mossad or Israel which had operated in Kurdistan in 2004 to set up a strong Kurdish commandos in opposing Iraq's Shiites in the South also imply Kurd's partnership with Israel. The suspicion is also tightened by the United States' campaign against Shi'ite militias known as Iraqi Special Operations forces (ISOF) which is commanded by Kurdish officers.
