Abstract

Chapter 64 of the book "Peterson's Principles of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery" is presented. This chapter focuses on blepharoplasty, which is frequently performed either as an adjunctive procedure or as a freestanding operation. A thorough understanding of the topography of the upper two-thirds of the face is essential for successful eyelid surgery. Postoperative interventions seek to limit edema and ecchymosis and prevent post-operative bleeding.
