Comparison of the Comparator Carriage Vibration Velocity Measurement Methods.

The article discusses the comparison of the comparator carriage vibration velocity measurement methods. There were two measurement systems which were used for vibration velocity measurement. The results revealed that the dominant amplitudes in the frequency range from eight-10 Hertz (Hz) with the use of accelerometer, shifted to the frequency range from 11-12 Hz using laser interferometer. The absolute measurement method of vibration velocities indicated vibro activity of the carriage.
