Abstract
- The article discusses the "Biodegradable Polymers" report from BCC Research, which reveals that global market for biodegradable polymers reached 541 million pounds in 2007 and predicts it will reach 1,203 million pounds by 2012. The report divides the market into four application areas, namely, compost bags, loose-fill packaging, other packaging such as medical/hygiene products and agricultural and paper coatings, and miscellaneous.
