Abstract
- The article looks at the political actions of Walter Veltroni, Mayor of Rome and Francesco Rutelli, Culture Minister of Italy. Included are details on Italian politician Silvio Berlusconi, the Roman lupercale and its relation of the myth of Romulus and Remus. It is suggested that the exploitation of relics is something that political leaders in Rome do to show their authority.
