THE GREAT PUMPKIN.

The article presents the professional winner of the limited edition category of the Site Furnishings Award from the "Landscape Architecture Magazine." The great pumpkin was designed like stone-woven Indian baskets in which seven of these lanterns were created to line the garden pathways of a private residence in Brentwood, California. The designers were Mark Rios and Frank Clementi in Rios Associates Inc. The materials used include cut flagstone, mortar, wood, light fixtures and steel.
