HERO BUTCHER GETS THE CHOP AT BRENTFORD.

TERRY BUTCHER left Brentford 'by mutual consent' yesterday with the club six points off the bottom of League Two. Butcher, a towering England defender who won 77 caps, joins Bobby Moore, Bobby Charlton and Peter Shilton among international greats who were unable to transmit their class to players of lesser ability.
