Abstract
- The article reports on the impact of the weak performance of the U.S. dollar in the foreign exchange market on the construction industry in the Middle East. The decreasing value of the U.S. dollar has caused a global credit crisis. The construction industry in the Middle is one of the sectors that are being affected by such value decrease. Construction costs in the region are increasing due to the value of the dirham and the global credit crisis.
