Abstract
- The article highlights a workshop hosted by The National Academies regarding the concept of multiple measures in the reauthorization of No Child Left Behind Act (NCLB) in the U.S. Experts offered a number of technical definitions of the term throughout the workshop. For the Department of Education, the inherent vagueness in the concept itself is reason enough to be wary about attempting to alter the existing NCLB accountability metric.
