- Dr. Rasinski discusses concerns about teachers teaching reading scientifically and neglecting artistic components of text as the result of high stakes testing ramifications. Dr. Rasinski thinks that rather than allow the profession of reading to be guided solely by a scientific orientation, teachers need to demand reading and reading instruction also be treated as the art it is.
