Nutrient deficiencies of perennials: Nutrient management.

The article discusses a research conducted at the University of Florida in Milton and Virginia Tech which investigated the management of nutrient deficiencies of perennials. The researchers found that traditionally heavy application of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium was unnecessary in field production of caladium tubers. They also cited the importance of frequent growing media testing to monitor and chart soluble salt levels.
