New LEED-EB unveiled at IFMA trade show.

The article announces the launching of the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design for Existing Buildings Operations and Maintenance (LEED-EB O&B) program of the U.S. Green Building Council. Unveiled during the annual convention of the International Facilities Managers Association in New Orleans on October 25, 2007, the LEED-EB O&B certification system includes fewer program prerequisites, updated reference standards, and expanded sections on several factors, compared to the earlier LEED-EB version.
