- The article reports on the 2007 revival of the Stax record label. The history of the soul music recording company, which enjoyed its heyday in the 1960s and its subsequent collapse, is recounted. Musician Isaac Hayes, who recorded with the original company and is slated to have a 2007 release on the Stax label, is quoted.
