Abstract

The article highlights the Second International Kerasma Conference on Greek Gastronomy and the Food, Wine and Spirits Industry Partenariat, organized by Hellenic Foreign Trade Board, held in Herakleion, Crete. The event discussed the benefits of the Mediterranean diet and gastronomic experts boasting quality and availability of Greek wines and foods. Lisa Smith of Central Market notes that the Greek cuisine has all the characteristics that the U.S. Consumer is looking for.
