Abstract

The article examines a complication of intravitreal triamcinolone acetonide injection on an 87-year-old woman with age-related macular degeneration in the left eye. Results of the study indicated the occurrence of retinal whitening of the macular in the absence of vitritis that progressed over five days to diffuse retinitis with moderate vitritis and anterior chamber cell.
