Abstract

The article discusses the appropriate words that best describes a city. According to the author, there were several definitions which tend to describe of what a city really means. The Webster's dictionary describes it as a "large town," a thickly populated area, usually larger than a village, having fixed boundaries and many more. However, the best definition would be the word "crowding." He added that a city is composed of good city and a bad city wherein, a good city. People who usually lived in an urban setting usually complained of their busy schedules, their dependence of automobiles, lack of social interaction, tremendous pressures and most of all sprawl.
