Abstract
- The article reports on hypoglycemia which occurs when human blood sugar or glucose levels drop. The article focuses on a glider pilots' need for rest, nutrition, hydration, and oxygen. Glycemic food indexes provide nutritional guidance for maintaining optimal blood sugar levels. A sandwich is an example of a healthy meal which provides a balance of nutrients.
