Abstract

The article offers ideas on managing garden wastes. Composting and shredding are the environment-friendly ways of managing garden wastes. Composting is a natural process of recycling garden wastes. The compost produced after composting can help improve the quality of garden soil. Shredding, on the other hand, is a process of chopping wastes to fine pieces and adding it to a composter. It is said to be advantageous because it speeds up decomposition process.
