Abstract

This paper examines some of the harm caused by poverty in both developing and industrialised countries. It will demonstrate that poverty is currently the world's largest source of social harm; it causes more death, disease, suffering and misery than other social phenomena. The paper will question the omission of the study of this harm from criminology. ..PAT.-Unpublished Manuscript [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
