Abstract
- This paper reviews contributions to evidence-based programming that were supported mainly by the Office of Juvenile Justice & Delinquency Prevention. These include Blueprints for Violence Prevention, evidence-based practice guidelines based on Lipsey's meta-analyses, the Gottfredson's best practices in school-based delinquency programs, and the Helping America's Youth database. The strengths of each of these approaches will be discussed. ..PAT.-Unpublished Manuscript [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
