Abstract

Latinos represent the fastest growing minority in the United States and, paradoxically, one of the least studied groups in the field of criminal justice (Schuck et al., 2004). The current research aims to fill this gap by comparing White and Latino satisfaction with police in San Antonio, TX. Drawing upon prior research as a guide, this paper models citizen satisfaction with police from a sample of 512 survey respondents contacted by telephone in the Fall of 2005. Our particular focus will be on comparing models of satisfaction across the two groups. ..PAT.-Unpublished Manuscript [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
