Abstract

The article reports on the relocation of the Military Advance Training Center for Soldier Amputees, established by the Walter Reed Army Medical Center of Washington D.C., to Bethesda, Maryland. The facility is designed to ensure soldiers could move properly with their new limbs. The center features a climbing wall, a firearms simulator, a ground simulator and a gait laboratory.
