Abstract

There is no shortage of information on mentoring that describes its benefits and outlines recommended structures. Manuals and workshops are even available for the propagation of the faith. Unfortunately, critical attention to the ethical basis of mentoring is less common. Assuming one can establish an operational model of what mentoring is or must entail, it is important to ask on what grounds and under what conditions (e.g., the degree of formalization) one would prefer it to be more common. ..PAT.-Unpublished Manuscript [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
