Abstract

The article reports on a type of paper developed by researchers at the School of Engineering and Applied Science at Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois that could help reinforce and strengthen a range of construction materials. They used graphene oxide to produce the thin paper. To form the paper, the team oxidized graphite to produce graphite oxide.
