Master ES in a Budapest Manuscript.

The article offers information about MS Cod. Lat. 109, a manuscript which was held in the archives of the University Library of Budapest. The manuscript, which is believed to belong to the oeuvre of the Master ES, has a text of a prayer book written on sheets ruled and framed in black lines. The dimension of the pages is 142x102 millimeter which consists of 387 pages today, and the worn nature of its pages indicates continuous use. Its clear and regular fonts of gothica cursiva textualis are the work of a single hand, likewise its script is continuous with no empty pages. According to the author, the codex including the two engravings in the manuscript is probably made around 1460.
