Abstract

A profile of Maurice de Vlaminck (1876-1958), the French painter, is presented. It is stated that first he was influenced by Van Gogh and Les Fauves. In 1908, however, he started to paint in the style of Paul Cézanne. His ideas are contained in "Dangerous Turning," and "Good Manners."
