Abstract
- The article discusses the author's first sighting of a Ross' goose in Connecticut on December 11, 2006. At Long Island Sound in Connecticut, the author saw a single Ross' goose along with a flock of nine Canada geese. He observed the bird in terms of plumage, shape, size, and behavior. On December 16, 2006, a single Ross' goose with a small flock of Canada geese were also seen by Penny Solum and Luke Tiller at the Burying Hill Beach in Westport, Connecticut.
