Abstract
- This article offers insights on the creation of four life-size gray stone gorillas in animated poses and aligned single file along a barbed wire fence and facing the freeway in Omaha, Nebraska. These icons seem to be out of place. The incongruity of the gorillas is evident in news stories which has both the rural and city folk in southeastern South Dakota in massive lather of gossip and curiosity.
