Issues in Vendor/Library Relations -- Column People.

The author reflects on the issues on Library weblogs among librarians. He pointed out that the nonsensical names blogs on the web have created a bad impression on the library columnists. He argued that columnists offers readers a point-of-view, way of thinking and expressing oneself but seldom to interact with readers. He explained that columns can be kept for a long time unlike blogs that can be deleted easily.
