Abstract
- A section of the book "Transnational Adoption" is presented. It offers a look at the return of Korean adoptees to Korea for cultural training under the auspices of the Korean government. It explores the dialectical relationship of adopted Koreans to their motherland by posing questions about cultural citizenship and national belonging for a transnational group that is being newly revalued as a diaspora by the South Korean state.
