Human Engineering Design for Marine Systems.

The article discusses the revision process of the 1988 ASTM International (AI) standard F 1166, Practice for Human Engineering Design for Marine Systems, Equipment and Facilities by the ASTM International Committee F25 on Ships and marine Technology in the U.S. AI took into consideration the three goals for the revision of F1166 which focused on updating its technical content and taking into account the compatibility of the standard with other human factors engineering design standards.
