Abstract
- The article discusses findings by Peter Warry that have determined that construction tiles found at archaeological excavations can help date the site and provide clues about the changing construction methods of Romans in Great Britain. Roman tegula tiles, one of the types of tiles that comprised a roof, had different shapes in the back that allowed the tiles to be overlapped.
