A Mother's Concern.

The author relates her mother's concern about her future. The author says her mother does not want her to marry an American boy for they do not know their culture and traditions. She states that her mother wants her to marry an Indian boy, a Maharastrian born and raised in the U.S. so that she will not have to worry about his citizenship.
