Abstract

The article provides information about the crowdsourcing in Great Britain. The term crowdsourcing is used to describe the new Internet-enabled business model in which companies tap into the wisdom of crowds to design products, create content and even tackle corporate research & development (R&D) problems, rather than rely solely on paid-for staff. One foremost attraction of crowdsourcing is that it allows companies to explore innovative ideas at a relatively low cost. The phenomenon also enables companies to reduce costs for undertaking specific tasks.
