Abstract

The article comments on several issues relevant information technology and computers in 2006. Key issues discussed include the potential use of a mobile phone application to convey information about traffic congestion on motorways, a reliable speed test for digital subscriber line connections to the Internet and production delays caused by the use of different design software versions by engineers of aircraft manufacturer Airbus in France and Germany.
