Legislative Update.

The section provides updates on legislative bills concerning education in the U.S. Congress as of February 20, 2007. The Continuing Appropriations Resolution for fiscal year 2007 has been passed by both the House and the Senate. The Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee has approved the Head Start for School Readiness Act. The Holocaust Education Act has been introduced by Representative Carolyn Maloney.
