Abstract

Chapter 3 of the book "Greek Art Among the Romans" is presented. It explores Greek art under the Roman Cæsars. It is said that the condition of art under Constantine the Great is shown by statues of him. During the reign of Constantine, there has been a downfall of sculpture as well as of architecture which can be seen in the temple of Bacchus, near the church of Saint Agnes outside of Rome.
