Abstract
- The article presents news briefs on the U.S. Armed Forces. Admiral William Fallon has been selected to head the U.S. Central Command. Meanwhile, the assumed nomination of Admiral Timothy Keating to head the U.S. Pacific Command would give the U.S. Navy the control of 3 out of 5 geographic combatant commands, as Admiral James Stavridis heads the Southern Command.
