Abstract
- In this article, the author urges schools in Great Britain to nurture a generation of young people who will take up the new scientific challenges that are constantly arising. The author observes that primary schools have a critical role to play in introducing children to science and in building curiosity and enthusiasm. He states some opportunities offer by science to primary schools. In addition, the author asserts the failure to engage young people with the facts of the physical world.
