Social Work Practice with Lesbian Couples.

This chapter discusses treatment approaches for practitioner when working with lesbian couples as clients. Though the practitioner may wish to follow general treatment guidelines, the defining characteristics and social contexts of each couple must be kept in mind. The practitioner should consider their positive strengths and qualities as areas of vulnerability and pain are addressed.
