Abstract

The article presents information on some of the popular fishing spots that Lake Erie's Inner Long Point Bay offers to visitors. The bay consists of the waters enclosed by the tip of Long Point, which juts 26 miles into Lake Erie, and Peacock Point, just east of Port Dover. Long Point Bay is divided into an Inner Bay and Outer Bay, which are different in makeup. Most of the action on opening day takes place in the Inner Bay, although some anglers fish Bluff Bar or the outside of Pottohawk Point.
