CHINESE SOURCES OF ESTIMATES OF COTTON PRODUCTION IN CHINA (MAINLAND).

The article enumerates the Chinese sources of cotton production estimates in China. They include the National Bureau of Statistics' Chinese Organizations Publishing Estimates of Production in China, the Ministry of Agriculture, which surveys cotton farmers three times a year and the Chinese Cotton Association, which develops monthly estimates of production. Also included are the cotton information services, namely the China National Cotton Information Center and the Beijing Cotton Outlook and collaborations between the mentioned organizations.
