Abstract
- The article focuses on the key marketing strategies used by new firms entering the small business market in New York. Kate McGregor, a former journalist, started an eco-friendly clothing boutique in August 2006. She thinks it's possible to mount a great marketing campaign without spending much money. She switched to specific products and that made the difference. Frank Frisari and John McCoy, entrepreneurs, focused their marketing, signing on at annual trade shows for museum gift shop buyers.
