Abstract: A well-known theoretical equation for compatibility of deformations of the tension nut-bolt joint elements is generalized to incorporate the case of axially variable indices of elastic-plastic deformation of engaged turns. The tension nut-bolt joint is divided into five segments where turns deformation indices are described by separate functions.
