Abstract
- The article reports on the case of Lenny Matlovich, a tech sergeant in the U.S. Air Force who was relieved of his duties in 1975 because he was a homosexual. Events on the Matlovich's trial revealed the questions raised during the hearings and the assumptions held by the Air Force officers regarding gender identification and sexual orientation.
