EXPOSURE TO MAGNETIC FIELD HARMONICS IN THE VICINITY OF INDOOR DISTRIBUTION SUBSTATIONS.

The article discusses the result of the study concerning the possible biological effects of electric and magnetic fields and the duration of public and occupational exposure to be allowed. The International Commission on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection expanded their guidelines by taking into account the harmonic components of the magnetic field with phase angles. The study aims to investigate magnetic fields, especially the harmonic components, in electric distribution substations from the public and occupation exposure point of view.
