Abstract
- The article presents the author's experience in the May 8, 1992 San Francisco rally and march in support of the Los Angeles rebellion against the acquittal of the police officers accused of beating Rodney King. The threatening silhouette of police and calls to stop the rally and start the march are described as talks by Black and Asian American women encourage the chant of "No justice, no peace!" The arrest of the participants and initiatives against police violence is discussed.
