Survey Examines Postadoption Services Among Private Agencies.

The article focuses on an Internet-based survey conducted by the Child Welfare League of America in April 2006 that would determine how many among its private agency members use post-adoption services to support families and children who have recently completed the adoption process. Of the 95 responses collected from 39 U.S. states, 94% reported providing post-adoption services such as support groups, crisis intervention, family therapy and mental health treatment.
